Request-level options #

Everything around query: sorting and cursor pagination, highlighting, hybrid fusion stages, field collapsing and streaming delivery.

• Sort and pagination — sort, from/size, search_after cursors
• Highlighting — matched fragments, tagged, per hit
• Hybrid search and scoring pipeline — retrieve → fuse → score_functions → rescore
• Rescore — re-rank the top window with a second query
• Field collapsing — one hit per field value, inner_hits runner-ups
• Script fields — computed values per hit at fetch time
• Streaming search — one request behaves like a subscription

SQL twins: sort → ORDER BY, from/size → LIMIT / OFFSET. Highlighting, the hybrid pipeline, collapsing and streaming stay DSL-side in the current SQL subset.
